Narrative
CHESTERFIELD, MO – A wrong-way crash along a major roadway in west-central St. Louis County killed two people on Tuesday.
The incident happened just before 4:10 p.m. on South Woods Mill Road between Ladue and Conway, which is near St. Luke’s Hospital West Campus.
Police say that a Cadillac and a Kia collided head on when the 72-year-old driver of the Cadillac entered the wrong side of the roadway.
Both drivers, a man and a 42-year-old woman, died in the accident. Authorities haven’t yet released their names to the public.
A full investigation is underway.
