MOBERLY, MO – A 46-year-old woman, a passenger, was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate wounds after her driver crashed their vehicle into an embankment Saturday. 

This single-vehicle crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on Route EE. The passenger, who was identified as Melisa Carter, is recovering at Moberly Regional Medical Center. The driver of the 2006 Chevrolet Impala — 45-year-old Jason Carter — was unharmed.
