Narrative
SEDALIA, MO – A 19-year-old motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries Thursday in a two-vehicle collision in central Pettis County.
Around 6:30 p.m. emergency crews reported to the area of Broadway Boulevard and State Fair Boulevard on the west side of Sedalia to assist with a fatal accident.
Police say that a Dodge Charger struck a Ducati motorcycle while making a left turn.
The force of the collision ejected the motorcyclist, and he died soon after transport to an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name to the public.
The driver of the Dodge did not sustain injuries.
No charges have been announced thus far.
