Narrative
THAYER, MO – A 29-year-old man lost his life after his van was rear-ended up by a Mississippi Highway Patrol car and then into a semi-truck on U.S. 63 Monday. Troopers said the van driver — Joshua Parker of Calico Rock, Arkansas — was waiting to turn left when he was rear-ended. The impact then led him to collide with the semi-truck. The semi-truck driver was seriously hurt, and the trooper sustained moderate wounds. Officials have not indicated any charges or citations for the trooper.
