Narrative
NEW LONDON, MO – A woman was killed and two others were rushed to the hospital following a collision involving an SUV and an ambulance in New London on Tuesday.
Troopers say Terri Rucker, a 47-year-old woman from Bowling Green, Missouri, was driving northbound in the southbound lane of U.S. 61 when her SUV collided head-on with a Van-Far ambulance.
Rucker was pronounced dead at the scene, while the ambulance driver, Leslie Dahl, and passenger Jason Bostic, both sustained serious injuries. They were flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment, with Dahl listed in serious condition and Bostic upgraded from serious to stable.
