Narrative

NEAR EXCELLO, MO – A 57-year-old man operating a motorcycle was airlifted to a hospital after he collided with a deer on Lace Avenue around 10 a.m. Tuesday. Upon hitting the deer, Michael James’s motorcycle overturned, throwing him off his bike. First responders then took this St. Charles resident was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for serious injuries. No other occupants were involved. He did not wear a helmet.
