Two were injured in a crash at U.S. 63 and Highway 156 in La Plata around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 2. Missouri State Troopers said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 failed to yield and was hit by the driver of Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 was unharmed. The driver of Traffic Unit 1, a 13-year-old boy, and the passenger of Traffic Unit 1, 58-year-old Susan Elison, were hospitalized for severe and minor injuries.
