Narrative
One was hospitalized, and one was injured in a crash on U.S. Route 36 near Callo before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1st. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, The driver of Traffic Unit 1 hit Traffic Unit 2. The impact caused both vehicles to travel off course, hit a guardrail, and rollover. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 – 62-year-old Nels Magnuson, succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Robert Ives, 58, the driver of Traffic Unit 1, was taken to Samaritan Hospital for minor injuries.
