Narrative
TROY, MO – A 21-year-old man from Troy was fatally injured in a head-on crash Saturday night.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred around 10:25 p.m. on Highway 47, east of Anna Avenue.
Troopers say Scott M. Weisheyer was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound when he crossed the center line and collided with a 2016 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction.
Weisheyer, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead early Sunday. The pickup’s driver, a 24-year-old man from Troy, and a 26-year-old woman from Hawk Point who was a passenger in the truck, each sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
