Narrative
Two were hospitalized following a three-vehicle collision on I-35 South in Kansas City after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11th. Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened when the driver of Traffic Unit 1 – 44-year-old Robert Hooks – hit the back of Traffic Unit 2. Shortly after, Hooks collided with the rear of Traffic Unit 3. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 – 22-year-old Alexa Frisbie – then hit a sign. The driver of Traffic Unit 3 – 24-year-old Madison Swanson – drifted off the left side of the road and collided with a cable barrier. Swanson was unharmed, while Hooks and Frisbie were sent to North Kansas City Hospital for minor injuries.
