Narrative
DOUGLAS COUNTY, MO – A 32-year-old woman succumbed to fatal injuries, and a 63-year-old man was transported to a hospital following a head-on crash Monday. This collision happened around 11 a.m. on MO 14 when 63-year-old William Egan had crossed the center line and crashed his 2012 Ford F150 into a 2018 Ram Promaster. Egan was sent to Cox South Hospital for moderate injuries. It is unclear if Egan was impaired, speeding, tired, or suffered a medical episode or whether it was another factor that led him to strike Heather Nesbitt’s (of Ozark) vehicle head-on. No charges were reported pending. Nesbitt was declared dead at the scene.
