Narrative

One was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on southbound U.S. 69 along Rhodus Road in Excelsior Springs before 11:15 a.m. on Monday, February 27th. Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 did not stop at the stop sign and hit the driver of Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 was unharme. However, the driver of Traffic Unit 2, 81-year-old Ruth Hartwig, was taken to Liberty Hospital for minor injuries.
