Narrative
GREEN FOREST, MO – Emergency responders flew a 25-year-old man via a helicopter to a hospital following a side-by-side collision on Butler County Road 448 Sunday.
This crash happened at 3:30 a.m. For reasons unclear, the operator of the 2022 Can-Am-Defender side-by-side vehicle drifted off the eastbound lanes on the right side of the road and hit a tree.
The man — Michael Lady from Fairdealing — was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center for treatment of serious wounds.
Lady did not wear a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
