Narrative
HALLSVILLE, MO – One teen died, and two others were injured Sunday in a solo crash on the southern outskirts of Hallsville.
The accident happened around 5 p.m. in the area of 11400 North Hecht Road, which is between Elkin Road and East Mt Zion Church Road.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a 17-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and overturned after leaving the roadway and crashing into a tree. The driver died in the accident, while one of the passengers, a 15-year-old girl, sustained critical injuries.
The other passenger sustained non-critical injuries. It’s unclear if she required hospitalization.
