Narrative

BURFORDVILLE, MO – A 13-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries when her driver, operating a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, struck a utility pole before 3:30 p.m. Sunday. This single-vehicle collision occurred at the Missouri State Route 34 and Route UU junction. The driver — a 17-year-old teenage boy — was unharmed. The girl was sent to St. Francis Medical Center (via private transportation) for treatment. Missouri Highway Patrol confirmed that the girl did not wear a seatbelt, while the boy did.
