Narrative

PILOT GROVE TOWNSHIP, MO – A driver of a Ford Explorer drifted off the road and crashed into a pole, leaving the passenger with serious injuries Sunday. This collision occurred at the corner of Mount Vernon Road and Crossroads School Drive before 10:15 p.m. After the car came into contact with the pole, it overturned. The driver – an unidentified 54-year-old man – was unharmed, while his passenger, a 33-year-old woman, was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
