Narrative

HARRISONVILLE, MO – All southbound lanes of I-49 near Harrisonville were shut down Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck.

Authorities from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported that a semi truck and another vehicle collided on the southbound lanes of I-49, just north of the Missouri Highway 291 exit.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the accident. However, the collision resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes of I-49 at Missouri Highway 291 for several hours. All lanes have since reopened.
