Two men were seriously injured following a crash at the intersection of Holmes Road and West 187th St. in Belton after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18th. Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver of Traffic Unit 2, 19-year-old John Paradis, tried to “cross in front of” Traffic Unit 1, and as a result, Paradis collided with the driver of Traffic Unit 1, 76-year-old Ronald Davis. The impact caused the vehicle of Traffic Unit 1 to roll over, and Davis and Paradis were taken to separate hospitals for serious injuries.
