One person was hospitalized after a crash on SW 70th Road near the Missouri and Kansas state line in Barton County around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7th. Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 attempted to pass Traffic Unit 2 and hit the driver’s side of Traffic Unit 2. The driver traffic Unit 1 was unharmed. However, the driver of Traffic Unit 2, 48-year-old Sonja Blackford, was taken to Christi Hospital in Pittsburgh, Kansas.
