Narrative
DEKALB CO., MO – A 56-year-old man was injured in a crash involving a farm tractor in south-central DeKalb County.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. just northwest of Osborn at the intersection of Highway 36 and Southwest Fairview Road.
Police say that a westbound Chevrolet 3500 struck a northbound John Deere Tractor 8R340 when the latter vehicle failed to yield right-of-way.
Medics transported the unrestrained driver of the Chevy to the hospital with moderate injuries. Authorities identified him as Larry L. Wall.
The 31-year-old driver of the tractor was not hurt in the accident.
